Ontario Eighth Grade Parents

A meeting has been scheduled for Ontario 8th graders and their parents to discuss next year’s high school schedule. The meeting will be held Tuesday, February 16, in the Ontario Middle School commons at 6:30 p.m. Guidance counselors will be available to answer questions.

Wrestlers Host NCC Championships

The NCC 2009 Conference Champions...Ontario's very own Warrior Wrestlers will host and defend their title Friday, February 12. This is a great opportunity for the home crowd to come and support this team. With enthusiastic fan support, the wrestling team will do their best to keep that trophy in Warrior hands.

In their final regular meet of the season, Ontario Wrestling hosted a quad meet between Ontario, Northmor, Plymouth, and Galion, February 3rd. The first opponents were decided by a random draw, and Ontario wrestled Northmor, while Plymouth wrestled Galion. Northmor came out strong and beat Ontario 54-27, but Ontario came back and wrestled Galion, beating them 54-20. Leading the Warriors was Nick Miller(130 lbs) with 2 pins on the evening, Matt Dickman (135 lbs) with a 6-5 decision and a forfeit, and Andrew Kleshinski (152 lbs) with 1 pin and a default win. Also recording 2 wins by forfeit were Christian Meister (112 lbs) and Jake Miller (140 lbs). Earning one win for the night was Noah Waterer(119 lbs) scoring a pin in 0:51, Alex Gombosch (160lbs) pinning in 1:47, and Brian Eyerly (285 lbs) with a forfeit.
