Spring is Here......Can you believe it is April?

     April 3rd..... COSI on Wheels brought to us by the Ontario PTO.

     April 4th......Grade Cards Go Home

     April 7th.....Sign and Return Grade Cards & Data Folder to school

    May 8th.....EARLY RELEASE..Stingel students released at 2:45pm

Note from Mrs. Sauder:

We are now in the final two months of school and we have a lot to cover to prepare your child for first grade!  It is VERY important to continue to work with your child at home and I know this will get tougher as the weather gets nicer but it is important and valuable to contiue to work on these skills at home! Continue to work on writing unknown words (and sentences) using their sounds, counting objects to higher numbers (11-20), reading simple stories and having your child retell the story to you.  

It is very important that you continue to review the star words with your child as these are the words they need to know for 1st grade!  Please continue to work on correct letter and number formation on the lined paper.   

A few parents have already asked me about what we do for a end of the year celebration.  We will have a parent planned fun day on May 30th.  I will be sending home a newsletter at a later date regarding this however, I know some parents need to take vacation days.  If you have any questions please let me know.  The fun day will be May 30th from 9 to noon.  With that said.I wish all of you a HAPPY SPRING!! Mrs.Sauder
