Heading In To Meet Miss Weber
My Personal Page
I, Julie Weber have been teaching Kindergarten at Stingel Primary since the fall of 2003. There is no other place I would rather be or no other job that I would rather have! I graduated with my Master’s Degree from Ashland University in Early Childhood Education on May 12, 2007! I graduated high school in 1999 from Madison Comprehensive High School. After high school, I went to Ashland University where I pursued my Early Childhood Education degree. I graduated from AU in 2003 with my bachelor's degree! I have been very lucky to have such wonderful teachers in my life. I would like to thank my 5th grade teacher, Mrs. Elaine Craven for making me the organized person I am today! She was such a great teacher (I didn't realize it at the time :)) but she truly impacted my life and I will always thank her for her guidance!! I also want to thank all my other teachers because without them I don't know where or want I would be doing today!! THANK YOU!! :):) When I am at home,I enjoy playing with my two dogs (Maggie and Angel). Maggie is a spoiled rotten three-year-old Rottie who does not go far without her stuffed animals or her balls. Angel is my baby and she is nine-year-olds. Angel loves laying on her OSU big pillow and rarely shares it with Maggie! :) They are both spoiled and they know just how to get many treats from me. I should own stock in the Milkbone company!!! Last Summer, we took in a stray kitten (he was almost dead when we found him) and well Tigger has stayed! He has become spoiled rotten too!! I have the world's greatest parents! My mom is the one that helps me a LOT in the classroom and she is my shopping buddy! I am truly lucky to have my mother in my life as my best friend.....I can't imagine my life without her!! My dad is the first person I turn to when I have a computer problem or my car's oil light is on (Thanks Dad!). My Dad and I both have a love for cars....we enjoy our yearly trips to the Cleveland Auto Show and looking at all the "NEW" cars!! I also have a 24 year old brother (well he is almost 24 :)), Jason who is finishing his business degree at Ohio University. When Jason has a few minutes of free time from studying he loves to play his PS3 and his X-box. These are two things I know nothing about....the only thing I love about the PS3 is that it can play blu-ray discs!!! My brother's girlfriend, Morgan (well finance now...they became engaged July 4th) is also finishing up her business degree at OU! Morgan enjoys acting and singing! During her summers in California....she stared as an extra in Ocean's 13 (I'm so jealous she saw George Clooney), Las Vegas, and a few others! Morgan and Jason will be getting married June 6, 2009. The end of the year will be "crazy" with school ending and a wedding that's for sure!! I am very happy for them and I am happy to finally have a sister!! :) My favorite TV shows include CSI, Grey's Anatomy, Desperate Housewives, and Numbers! I also enjoy Nascar racing (Go Jr. #88)!! I am a huge Dale Jr. fan that's for sure!!! I also enjoy watching Ohio State Football. GO BUCKS!! My other passion besides teaching is being near the water and the ocean. I had a WONDERFUL time on my Ocean Vacation to Hilton Head in late July. It was 8 days of paradise that's for sure. I could live there in a heart beat that's for sure!!! Nothing beats sitting in your beach chair with the ocean waves coming up on you. We had a 4min. walk to the beach from our house so, it was HEAVEN to spend the day/night on the beach. We also enjoyed a day trip to Sea Pines...where of course we ate at the Salty Dog. I have my own Salty Dog mascot in my classroom!! I also had a great time on my ocean/ dolphin cruise with Captain Shawn of Dolphin Discoveries. We will be emailing him when we do our ocean unit as he is full of information and has some neat pictures to share with us too. If you are ever headed to Hilton Head....let me know I will give you his number as the trip was ABSOULETY AMAZING!!!! I am counting down the days to the "Girls Hilton Head Trip of 2009" that's for sure! I can't wait to have my feet in the sand and to see that beautiful sign that says "Welcome to Hilton Head Island"!!!! You will find the ocean theme all throughout my classroom...I feel it brings joy and peace to my room! Some Pictures From My "Girls Only Hilton Head 2008" Trip:
I just love it there!!! Can't wait to go back..........the beach is waiting for me!! :):):)
This is Angel. Her birthday is July 7th! She loves to cuddle with her blanket!
This is Maggie. Her birthday is February 5th! She does not go anywhere without her toys and stuffed animals! She usually meets me at the door with about 3 stuffed animals in her mouth!! Her newest trick is she loves to carry her bowl around in her mouth along with a few stuffed animals......she likes making people believe she is deprived! haha Well if you ever have, any questions always feel free to email or call me! My door is always open!! :) Julie Weber
