Introducing Head Coach Scott Kreger
2010 Calendar
I attended Rossford High School and graduated in 1994. After graduating high school I
attended The Defiance College and graduated in 1998. After obtaining my degree from
Defiance, I began my teaching and coaching career at Shelby. During my 6 years at Shelby, I
taught various levels of math and coached freshmen football for two years until moving up the
varsity staff. During my 4 years on the Shelby staff, I served as assistant defensive coordinator
and special teams coordinator. I had the pleasure of coaching in the OHSAA state playoffs
twice. In 2004 I came to Ontario to teach and coach. I am currently teaching geometry and
math connections. My coaching experiences here include 8th grade coach, varsity offensive
coordinator (1 year) and varsity defensive coordinator (3 years). During my free time I enjoy
being with my wife (Cori), two daughters Olivia (3) and Brinlee (1) and dog (Cyrus). I would like
to thank my wife and family for all of their support, love and caring!!!
Assistant Coach Zack Canfield
I graduated from Lucas High School in 2004. Upon graduation I obtained a degree in Middle
Childhood Education from Bluffton University in northwestern Ohio. While there, I played one year at
wide receiver and punter for the Beavers then assisted as a student-coach with the defensive backs
for two more years. In the fall of 2008 I started my teaching career at Ontario Middle School as the
6th grade Social Studies teacher. Last year I participated as a volunteer coach with the basketball
program and will co-coach this year's freshman basketball team with Coach Coley. This is my first
year working with Warrior Football and I am coaching the defensive backs and working with special
teams. My other interests include being involved in the church and missions, traveling, and guitar.
Thanks to my family for their constant encouragement: my parents Jim and Tammy, grandparents
Darold and Loretta, and sister Alex. Go Warriors!
