Weekend Scores Update
Varsity Football - The Warriors
upended Willard with a final
score of 34-20. Ontario stands at
2-0 and will host their home
opener with Shelby, Friday, Sep
10.
JV dominated the Flashes on
Saturday by a score of 28-8.
Cross Country - PR’s remain
the focus for the Warriors as they
prepared for the Ashland Invite
on Saturday. Though neither the
girls nor boys placed high in the
team standings (13th and 15th
respectively), individually several
members continue to show
improvement.
Becca Stevenson was Ontario’s
top finisher at 43rd (21:52). Brett
Neutzling once again took top
score for the Warriors with a
17:46 time for 14th place overall.
Next Saturday the Warriors will
participate in the Tiffin Carnival
and hope to have their youth step
up in the scoring.
The 2010 OHS Homecoming Court will reside over the
September 17 game with Buckeye Central and at the
dance on Saturday, September 18. Congratulations
ladies!
Weekly Calendar
The OHS volleyball program
will be participating in two
Volley for the Cure contests
this season, September 16
and October 11 with Bucyrus.
To assist in this venture the
teams will be selling pink
“Volley for the Cure” T-shirts
for just $6. Adult 2xl and 3xl
are $8.00. All the profit from
the T-shirt sales will go to the
Susan G. Komen Foundation.
Team members are taking
orders until 9/8/10. This is a
Volley for the Cure
great way for Warriors to show some pride for a good cause. For the October 11th contest,
there will also be a raffle and bake sale to assist in raising additional funds for the cause.
Come cheer on the Warriors, wear your pink, and help a cause!
