Weekend Scores Update Varsity Football - The Warriors upended Willard with a final score of 34-20. Ontario stands at  2-0 and will host their home opener with Shelby, Friday, Sep 10. JV dominated the Flashes on Saturday by a score of 28-8. Cross Country - PR’s remain the focus for the Warriors as they prepared for the Ashland Invite on Saturday. Though neither the girls nor boys placed high in the team standings (13th and 15th respectively), individually several members continue to show improvement. Becca Stevenson was Ontario’s top finisher at 43rd (21:52). Brett Neutzling once again took top score for the Warriors with a 17:46 time for 14th place overall. Next Saturday the Warriors will participate in the Tiffin Carnival and hope to have their youth step up in the scoring. The 2010 OHS Homecoming Court will reside over the September 17 game with Buckeye Central and at the dance on Saturday, September 18. Congratulations ladies! Weekly Calendar The OHS volleyball program will be participating in two Volley for the Cure contests this season, September 16  and October 11 with Bucyrus. To assist in this venture the teams will be selling pink “Volley for the Cure” T-shirts for just $6.  Adult 2xl and 3xl are $8.00.  All the profit from the T-shirt sales will go to the Susan G. Komen Foundation.  Team members are taking orders until 9/8/10.  This is a Volley for the Cure great way for Warriors to show some pride for a good cause. For the October 11th contest, there will also be a raffle and bake sale to assist in raising additional funds for the cause. Come cheer on the Warriors, wear your pink, and help a cause! Mansfield Christian Falls to Boys Soccer, 4-1 Mitchell Papst led his team to victory Tuesday evening with his three goals as the Warriors out - tussled Mansfield Christian, 4-1. Drew Smith added another goal giving Ontario a major win early in their season. The Warriors are 3-1-1 and will travel to Spartan Field on Thursday to face St. Peters. Ontario Lady Warriors moved to 5- 0-1 on the year with a 4-2 win over the Mansfield Christian Lady Flames. The Lady Flames started the game strong and went up 1-0 before Taylor Elliot tied the game with a goal from outside the 18 off a pass from Jessica Burdette. Amanda Fowler put Ontario on top to stay with a header off a beautiful cross from Erica Uselton to close the scoring in the first half. Ontario took control of the game in the 2nd half with two goals, one each for Fowler and Uselton. Goalie Mckayla Reedy had 5 saves for the Lady Warriors. Ladies Topple MCS
