Some of the many friendly faces greeting visitors to the Middle School building are the ladies who work in the front office. Secretaries Mary Mitman, Deb Eddleblute, and Michele Fisher along with building guidance counselor, Diane Cunningham are ususally available to help staff, students, parents, and visitors as they frequent the building throughout the school day.

Parents our school MUST have
proof that your 7th grade child has had the Tdap (Tetanus Booster) before September 8 or he or she will not be permitted to attend school.
This immunization is a new state requirement for all 7th grade students. It was not part of the
kindergarten shots. If your child has not had this shot, please take him/her to get it
The Health Department 24-hour Immunization Information Line is 419-774-8115.
Any 6th, 7th or 8th grader interested in serving on student council this year needs to pick up an application from Mrs. Turnbaugh or Mrs. Fulmer beginning Friday September 3rd. Applications will be available until Wednesday September 8th. All applications have to be turned into Mrs. Turnbaugh by Thursday September 9th.

Over 13 schools participated in the Saturday's Ashland Invitational, and in the girls contest, 136 runners completed the contest with Abby Miller leading the way. Miller, a seventh grade student, finished the two mile coures in 13:36 with teammate, Rachel Baker, second for the Warriors and 63rd overall. Also competing for Ontario were Hannah Bricker, Alaina Merkel, Nicole Miller, Olivia Shaver, Savannah Hoover, and Sydney Bosko. Ontario's girls team were ninth.
The boys were led by Brett Cortelletti who not only was first for Ontario, but took second overall with a time of 11:58 (just three seconds slower than first place). Taking 16th place and second for the Warriors was Jon Foltz. Teammates finishing the race included Torsten Sjostedt, Michael Randall, Kyle Wills and Austin Kauffman. There were 151 athletes with 14 teams racing, and the Warriors were seventh.
