If your child is going to be absent from school, we ask that you notify the school as soon as possible (preferably before school begins on the morning of the absence).  You can simply phone our absentee line and report the absence over the phone.  You will not be speaking directly to one of the school's staff; so if you wish to leave a message, you will need to phone the school during regular school hours. Upon the student's return to school a written excuse must be submitted stating the reason for the absence.
